Midwest Drops Classic Country for Classic Rock in Fargo

Posted on January 19, 2021 by Jon Ellis

Midwest Communications has dropped Classic Country in favor of Classic Rock in Fargo.

KMJO/104.7 (Hope-Fargo) has flipped from “Duke FM” to “The Bear, Classic Rock that Really Growls.” The new format launched on Monday, Jan. 18, taking on Radio F-M Media’s “107.9 The Fox” (KPFX Kindred-Fargo).

KMJO’s previous format had worked in tandem with mainstream Country outlet “Froggy 99.9” (KVOX-FM Moorhead-Fargo).
