Zoe Communications has extended its “Cabin” branding to a second northwestern Wisconsin station.
WJBL/93.1 (Ladysmith) has changed its name to “The Cabin” has retained its Classic Hits format. Zoe is operating WJBL and WLDY/1340 while it awaits final approval of its purchase of the stations from Flambeau Broadcasting.
Zoe first launched the “Cabin” branding in Hayward on W245CT/96.9 and WCBN/910 in early 2017. It was first Adult Contemporary but later transitioned to Classic Hits.
Zoe operates WCBN alongside Country-formatted “Muskie 101” (WHSM-FM/101.1 Hayward). The stations compete locally with Vacationland Broadcasting AC outlet WRLS/92.3 (Hayward).
